Les Frères Laffitte
The estate’s vines are planted on the highest hills of AYZIEU, on the borders of Gascony, also nicknamed
“Little Tuscany” for its hilly and varied landscapes. Our terroir, very typical of Bas Armagnac, is essentially made up of “tawny sands” on the surface and “earth” in the basement. These two very specific elements give our wines minerality, freshness and power. The climate benefits from the influence of the Atlantic Ocean and the Pyrenees. Our rainy and mild winters quickly give way to hot and dry summers followed by a beautiful late season.
