The Tymiopoulos family has been in agriculture and grape-growing in the village of Trilofos for generations. Apostolos Thymiopoulos was the first to vinify the family vineyards while studying oenology.
Often dubbed as the ‘golden child’ of Greek winemaking, Apostolos Thymiopoulos is one of the winemakers steering Greek wines towards an innovative future and global recognition.
Totally committed to organic and biodynamic farming, and working almost exclusively with Xinomavro, the indigenous grape of the region, his mission is to express different aspects of the variety, revealing it’s full potential.
