The vineyards, 125-200 years of age, are located at an altitude of 550 meters in the area of Paternopoli and Montefalcione where the soil is of volcanic origin. They are north exposed and espalier-trained.
The grapes are hand picked with a rigorous selection of the best bunches. After soft pressing the grapes macerate for approximately 20 days.
10% of the wine ages in 500 ltr barrels for 24 months and the rest ages in steel tanks.
